Get Indian Kurti And Salwar Kameez Online

When I married an Indian man, I knew that I was in for a culture shock. I mean, I was prepared for it – he did his best to help me prepare for it! Even so, I was very nervous. I remember the first time I was going with him to meet his parents. Mind you, I didn’t meet them until after we had married because they still live in India. But I was just so determined to impress them – I think I stayed up at night for a week, fretting over it. I wanted to make sure that I would make the right first impression on them. I wanted to show them that I was open to their culture and I wasn’t just some American girl who expected everyone to conform to her whims.
Naturally, as an American girl, my solution to this was shopping. During one of my sleepless nights, I pulled up the Ahaarya website, which my sister-in-law recommended to me. I know that clothing isn’t everything, but in my mind at that moment, looking like I was familiar with Indian outfits for women was the way to make a good first impression. So, I started shopping. I bought some Indian kurtis online for the more casual affairs and for traveling – day-to-day kind of stuff. Then, for parties that we would apparently be undoubtedly attending, I bought some party wear salwar kameez online. I felt quite prepared by the end of it!
Buying a bunch of Indian outfits for women, obviously, did not fully prepare me for all India had in store, but I can’t deny that it made a different, knowing that I was arriving in something that made me feel comfortable.

Party Wear Indian Outfits For Women

I recently went to India to visit my mom’s family for the first time ever. It was such a fantastic experience – I never want to forget the time I spent there and all the wonderful people I met. I fell in love with India while I was over there and I bought a whole bunch of clothes so that I would be able to wear my mom’s home country around with me every day.
Then, on the way home from India, my luggage got lost. Even with their modern technology, somehow my luggage was never found and, sadly, the piece that was lost was the one containing my Indian outfits for women. I was left with nothing.
I was so heartbroken. I felt as though a piece of me had been lost with that luggage. Fortunately, a desperate search for ethnic fashion clothing online led me to Ahaarya, which was a veritable goldmine of Indian outfits for women! It was my online search for party wear salwar kameez that led me there and I was astounded by the variety, the quality and – above all – the authenticity. I was reserved at first and only ordered a few things to make sure I would like it and I was immediately thrilled. As soon as I tried on the first outfit upon its arrival, I ran back to my computer and ordered a whole bunch more. It wasn’t the clothing I had gotten in India, but it was close enough in style that I was able to recapture that part of me that thought had been lost.

Indian Outfits For Women

I am a busy, career-driven woman who is fortunate enough to have been blessed with a family who is incredibly supportive of my goals and of the hard work I put into my job. But just as supportive as they are, they also have expectations of me. I am always expected to be present and active at family functions (no working during parties!), and I am expected to dress well.
In return for all the support my family gives, it is really the least I can do to comply with their requests. But being a career-driven woman, I rarely have time to go shopping. What’s more, I’m from a large Indian family, so I am expected to wear traditional Indian outfits for women to family functions. Again, I am happy to do what my family wants, but even more time-consuming than shopping normally is finding quality ethnic fashion clothing.
Thank goodness for sites like Araarya. With their great selection of Indian outfits for women, I know that I will be able to impress my relatives with my good taste and fashion sense. Rather than hunting down a store, wading through the inevitably overcrowded stock, hoping to find a color and style that I like, and hoping it is going to be affordable, all I have to do is search for party wear salwar kameez online on the Ahaarya store and I am certain to find something to my taste. And I can do it on my lunch break, which makes it so easy. After all, managing time is almost as important as pleasing my family!

Indian Outfits for Women - Ahaarya

I am always a little bit hesitant to buy my casual salwar kameez online because without getting my outfits tailored, they tend to be a little uncomfortable – they just don’t fit quite right. They are tight under the arms or too small in the bust or too poofy in the hips. I try to save money by buying online rather than having my clothing tailored, but I end up having to go to a tailor anyway!
When I was reading the Ahaarya website, I read that their customers regularly report their clothing to be very comfortable, so I decided I would give the buying casual salwar kameez online thing one more shot. I am so glad I did. When I put on the salwar kameez it felt tailored. It was loose where it needed to be loose and tight in all the right places. It was fitted but comfortable. I was so pleased with my purchase that I went back to their website straight away and bought a bunch more.
When you have a busy life like me, it isn’t always feasible to set aside time to go see a tailor and get your ill-fitting clothes properly altered. It makes it so much easier knowing that when I am in need of some more Indian outfits for women, I can just go to Ahaarya and order them online. Without fail, they are beautiful, comfortable and flattering. I don’t even bother wasting my time looking anywhere else anymore. I always know that Ahaarya will have just what I want.

Indian Salwar Kameez - Ahaarya

Ahaarya is my go-to site for my Indian outfits for women. In fact, I buy all of my casual salwar kameez online from them – and I’ve even begun buying my party wear salwar kameez online from them, as well. The colors are beautiful and vibrant; the materials are high-quality. They have the feel of being tailored to your personal measurements, but without the price tag of that attached. But these are all qualities you can find from anyone who sells Indian clothing for women. It is their classic modernity that sets them apart.
For years my mother was bugging me to wear traditional Indian outfits for women to family functions, but I felt like I couldn’t find anything that was my style. But I really ended up liking what I found at Ahaarya. They have up-to-date, modern styles of salwar kameez, yet they call to mind a more classic style, so you don’t have to throw out the outfits every season when the new fashions come out. Because of this modern feel, I don’t feel constricted to wearing my salwar kameez to family events. I wear my casual salwar kameez when I go out with friends and I wear my party wear salwar kameez to work events and dinners. They set me apart as having a unique style without it looking like I’m trying too hard. The clothing from Ahaarya is really a step beyond any other store – online of otherwise – that sells Indian outfits for women. Better yet, their clothing sets me apart. I can’t possibly complain about that!

Indian Clothing for Special Occasions

Even though I was born in the United States and I have never been to any different parts of the world, I have many friends who have. While I'm wishing that I can visit different places and travel the world, I end up living vicariously through my friends' experiences because I am so intrigued by other cultures.
One of my best friends, was born in India and moved to the United States when she was two years old. Because she moved here at such a young age, she was able to adapt to a whole new country. Luckily, she still remembers her native culture. When she was about to turn 16, she decided she wanted a party that would combine these two separate worlds into one. As an American tradition, she wanted to have a sweet sixteen celebration with an Indian twist: every guest had to wear Indian clothing.
I was a little bit caught off guard at this requirement because I have never worn any Indian clothing and I didn't even know where I would get any clothes, but my friend reassured me that she would help me. She showed me a few pictures of different outfits such as sarees, kurtis, and salwar kameez until I had a better idea of what I would need to wear.
Once I got a sense of Indian style and clothing, I still didn't know where to buy them. I asked my friend and she suggested that I check out Indian clothing online at Ahaarya. She told me that her and her family members get a lot of their clothes from there whenever they need an outfit for a special occasion.
I browsed their website and I was immediately awed by how many beautiful clothes they had. They had colorful clutches, gold plated bangles, kurtis, salwar kameez and mojris. I ended up purchasing a beautiful deep red saree and some accessories to go with it. At my friend's sweet sixteen party, I was excited to show off my outfit. I got many compliments and numerous people asked me where I got my clothes. Thanks to Ahaarya, I was able to dress appropriately and fit in.

Indian Clothing at a Wedding

For the entirety of my life, I have been a part of many weddings. When I was younger, I was the flower girl and now that I am older, I am the maid of honor. I have helped many of my friends and cousins plan their weddings and it has always been very fun to me. One day, my friend asked me to help her plan a wedding with an Indian theme. This was different to me because every other wedding that I had planned revolved around well known American traditions. Regardless of my lack of knowledge, I decided to help her out anyways because I figured it would be a good learning experience.
Most of the time, I just researched online for Indian traditions. I learned a lot and helped the bride-to-be with organizing the event. However, what she needed me for the most was picking out sarees for the bridesmaids and gave me that assignment to complete on my own. I was nervous because I knew that I had to pick the most trendy and stylish sarees for five different ladies.
I wanted this wedding to be perfect for my friend so I did all of the research that I could in order to find out what was fashionable and acceptable at Indian weddings. I found out that sarees of the same color are appropriate for the bridesmaids and that, though most bridesmaids dress in the same color, it is also acceptable to wear different colored sarees. I knew that my friend wanted the bridesmaids to wear the same color, so I set out to find five of the same outfit in the same color.
The challenging part of figuring out what the traditions are was over and now came the fun part: shopping. I looked for different stores until I found the right Indian clothing online. While looking at some websites, there was always something missing: either the sarees were not trendy enough or they didn't have any in a good color.
I finally found Ahaarya, a place for Indian clothing online shopping. They have many different options such as Indian salwar kameez and kurtis which I found to be very interesting. In the end, I bought five beautiful black and gold sarees that would look great on every bridesmaid and I also purchased a red and green salwar kameez and a pink kurti for myself.
The wedding turned out to be a success and the bride, bridesmaids and guests all loved the sarees that were bought. I'm glad I got to help out with this event because I gained a lot of knowledge with a different culture and ended up with a few outfits in case I ever decide to travel to India.
