I was young, probably in my 20s, when I first discovered Ahaarya. I was always the artsy type, and always looking for different looks to try out. I used to want to make my clothing, but I became more realistic with time, understanding that if I would put the quality and care into designing the clothing as well as making it, it would be quite a time investment for me.
Ahaarya had everything I needed, though. Their designer kurtis showed it. Every stitch was careful and flawless; the materials were durable yet soft. The designs were legitimate and totally made me feel like I was a Bollywood Indian fashion model, even though I was a short, blonde American girl. I was sold when I read about how Ahaarya feels in regard to expressing oneself through clothing. I have always felt this way, but many people around me think I’m thinking about it too much. Thing is, everything we wear projects something about who we are inside. I want to wear a designer kurti as an American girl because I know how it will help bridge the gap between cultures and peoples. I’m so thankful that I found Ahaarya. I get new items from them all the time, as little treats for myself when I am proud.
